For those listeners who have been visually impaired since birth or as
young children, your parents and care providers have probably told you
about the challenges and lack of guidance during these critical early
years of development. Doctor Kay Alicyn Ferrell, Professor Emertia of
Special Education at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley,
will provide some explanation on what visually impaired kids need to
thrive and talk about her contributions to the blind community.
